Dr. Gong Xiangqian 龚向前 (Chinese Correspondent)
Dr. Gong Xiangqian 龚向前 got a Ph.D (law) Degree from Wuhan University, China in 2005 and a Certification of Post-doctoral Researcher of Tsinghua University, China in 2007. He is an associate professor of law at Beijing Institute of Technology Law School, China, and acting as an academic visitor of University of Dundee, CEPMLP, UK. Professor GONG is interested in international and comparative law focusing on energy, environment, and public health. His academic positions have also included member of State Health and Quarantine Experts Commission of China, Member of Chinese Association of Energy Law, Council Member of Chinese Association of Environmental Law, etc. Professor Gong’s most recent book is "Studies on International Law Issues on Infectious Diseases Control" (Law Press, Beijing, 2010). He has also published a book named “Energy Law Reform for Climate Protection” (China Democracy and Law Press, Beijing, 2008).
